Jennifer Graff of Graff Law Firm, PLLC in The Woodlands, TX, has more than 20 years of experience in advising for-profit businesses and nonprofit organizations. She represents clients on tax and business-related issues. She also has extensive experience in structuring, negotiating and drafting agreements, including contracts and initial formation documents for partnerships, L.P.s, L.L.C.s and S and C Corporations.
Ms. Graff also specializes in the areas of tax-exempt organizations and charitable giving, representing both tax-exempt entities (public charities and private foundations) in organizational and governance matters as well as assisting interested donors in structuring gifts to charitable entities.
Ms. Graff is a 1991 graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, where she majored in Business Administration. Ms. Graff received her law degree from South Texas College of Law in 1995. While at South Texas, Ms. Graff was a member of the Order of the Lytae and an Assistant Articles Editor of the South Texas Law Review. Ms. Graff also served as an intern for the Texas Supreme Court. Ms. Graff received her L.L.M. degree in Taxation from Southern Methodist University in 2000.
Most recently, Ms. Graff has spent more than nine years advising clients in the same practice areas for the esteemed firm of Fizer, Beck, Webster, Bentley & Scroggins, PC. Prior to joining Fizer Beck, Ms. Graff served as a briefing attorney for The Eleventh District Court of Appeals for Texas, an attorney for the Social Security Administration in the Office of Hearings & Appeals, a trial attorney for the United States Department of Justice in the Tax Division, and a tax and business planning associate in the Houston office of a large, full-service law firm and a small bankruptcy boutique law firm.
Ms. Graff is a member of the Houston Bar Association/Tax and Business Sections and The Woodlands Bar Association. She serves on the Board of Directors for Panther Creek Inspiration Ranch and Cochran's Crossing Village Association. Ms. Graff also currently volunteers for schools in Conroe ISD, The Woodlands United Methodist Church, and is a Sustaining Member of the Junior League of Houston.
